Hey there! I’m Zuzana
I’m so happy you’ve found your way to Cooking Blast, a kitchen playground where flavor leads the way, creativity is always welcome, and making a little mess is totally part of the fun.
I’ve always believed that cooking should feel like an adventure, not a chore. Whether you’re whipping up a weeknight dinner or playing with a new flavor combo just because it sounds exciting, the kitchen is a place where curiosity and joy can come together in the most delicious ways.
My Journey into Food
My journey with food started long before I ever thought about blogging. I studied at a medical college, which gave me a solid understanding of the human body and, more importantly, taught me the value of nutrition. That knowledge still shapes the way I cook today. I love knowing what goes into the food I make, not just the ingredients but the little choices that can turn a simple dish into something special and nourishing.
A Life Full of Flavor
I’ve had the incredible opportunity to live in some amazing places around the world. I spent twelve vibrant years in Dubai, surrounded by bold spices, international cuisines, and a culture that celebrates food in the most exciting ways. After that, I moved to the Caribbean and spent four beautiful years in St. Lucia, where I embraced the rhythm of island life and learned the magic of fresh, local ingredients. Today, I call Vienna home, a city where history and flavor mix in every charming corner.
All these experiences have left their mark on my cooking. My kitchen is full of global influences, colorful flavors, and little tricks I’ve picked up from friends, markets, and moments along the way. Cooking Blast is where I bring all of that together, a place for easy, flavor-forward recipes that make you want to grab a spoon and start something fun.

Naturally Low Carb By Heart
Even though I don’t follow any strict food labels, I still naturally gravitate toward recipes without flour and sugar. That’s just how I’ve always cooked and loved to eat. You’ll find that many of my dishes are naturally low carb, simply because that’s what feels best and tastes amazing to me. It’s all about using real ingredients, embracing flavor, and keeping things fresh and creative.
What You’ll Find on Cooking Blast
Cooking Blast isn’t about fancy techniques or long ingredient lists. It’s about making food that’s exciting, satisfying, and doable, even on your busiest days. I love sharing recipes that inspire you to try something new, whether that’s learning how to sear like a pro, make the crispiest veggies without deep frying, or turn everyday pantry staples into a dish that makes you do a happy dance.
Let’s Cook Together
Every recipe you see here has been tested (often more than once!) in my own kitchen, tasted by my family, and photographed by me. I want you to feel like you’re right there with me, cooking side by side, laughing over the occasional kitchen flop, and celebrating the small wins, like a sauce that clings just right or a chicken breast that turns out perfectly juicy.
