Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Rose Petals Dried

Instructions

  • Prepare your rose petal flowers and water. Wash the rose petals, if needed and dry them fully afterward.
  • Separate the dry rose buds from the petals and add them to a mortar and pestle. Use the mortar and pestle only to crush the petals super gently to release their flavor and rose essence. Do not crush them too much. After that, add the rose flowers to the infuser inside the glass tea cup. Then, pour hot water a bit high to crush them and extract more flavor.
  • After filling the cup with water, close the lid and let it steep for 20 minutes. Serve with one mini rose inside.

Notes

  • Crushing the rose petals using your hand or using a mortar and pestle will help release more flavor from the fresh rose petals. This process will make the tea taste better.
  • Feel free to mix in other herbs like mint, rosemary, or chamomile for a unique flavor twist that you can enjoy better.
  • You can sweeten your tea using healthy sugar substitutes like stevia or simple syrup if you want a sweet tea, but I can assure you that it is suitable even without sweetener.
