  • 1 Pound Ground Chicken
  • 1 Piece Zucchini medium, shredded and squeezed dry
  • 1 Piece Egg
  • 2 Pieces Green Onions chopped small
  • 2 Pieces Garlic Cloves minced
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper Ground
  • Olive Oil enough for pan frying

Instructions

  • Gather ground chicken, shredded zucchini, egg, green onions, garlic, spices, and olive oil so everything is within reach before cooking.
  • Shred the zucchini and squeeze out as much liquid as possible to prevent the fritters from turning soft.
  • Mix the ground chicken, zucchini, egg, green onions, garlic, and seasonings in a bowl until evenly combined and smooth.
  • Shape the mixture into 1½-inch balls, then cook in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.

Notes

  • Choose fresh zucchini: Select firm, bright green zucchini for the best texture and flavor. Avoid overripe or soft zucchini, as they can become watery when cooked.
  • Season the chicken well: Use your favorite spices, garlic, and a pinch of salt to flavor the chicken before combining it with zucchini. Well-seasoned chicken makes every bite flavorful and satisfying.
